Due to heavy rain, there will be no Face-to-Face Classes (Walang Pasok) in the following cities, municipalities, and schools on July 25, 2024 (Thursday). Tropical Storm Carina resulted in heavy rains in many areas of Luzon causing floods and landslides. According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the rains brought by Carina were intensified by Habagat or Southwest Monsoon. In DepEd Order on Class Suspension, each local government, division office, or school had the right to suspend face-to-face classes or implement distance learning in times of calamity. It is also applicable to learners’ safety and well-being. The class suspension (Walang Pasok) will prevent hazards due to floods and landslides on roads.
Further, some of the cities and municipalities also declared suspension of work in government offices. Don’t forget to see the list below of areas which already declared “No Work and Classes” for July 25, 2024. Always visit this page for more updates.
