The Department of Education (DepEd) asks all teachers to prepare a lesson plan before classes start. Lesson plans help teachers set clear learning goals, organize activities, and guide students toward success. When lessons are well-prepared, teaching becomes focused, and students make steady progress. To make things easier, the DLL Week 2 of Quarter for All Grade Levels is now available for free download.
Meanwhile, the Malacañang Palace has announced that classes are suspended in the National Capital Region (NCR), Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Regions I, II, III, IV‑A, IV‑B, V, VI, VII, VIII, and the Negros Island Region on November 10 and 11, 2025 due to the expected impact of Super Typhoon Uwan. This suspension allows school facilities, students, and staff to stay safe from potential flooding, strong winds, and other storm hazards. The Daily Lesson Log (DLL) for Quarter 3, Week 2 (November 10–14, 2025) helps teachers plan lessons that align with the content and performance standards of MATATAG Curriculum. It ensures that daily teaching focuses on what students should understand and be able to do in each subject area. Also, teachers can design activities that develop essential knowledge and skills based on the K–12 Curriculum. The DLL guides teachers in promoting meaningful learning and fostering student growth. Nevertheless, these ensured curriculum goals are achieved across all grade levels.

Overview About Matatag Curriculum
The Department of Education started a revised version of the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum that aimed to narrow down the competencies. The MATATAG Curriculum which name is derived from the department’s MATATAG Agenda and its core principles includes the following:
- MAke the curriculum relevant to produce competent and job-ready, active, and responsible citizens;
- TAke steps to accelerate the delivery of basic education facilities and services;
- TAke good care of learners by promoting learner well-being, inclusive education, and a positive learning environment; and
- Give support to teachers to teach better.
This page contains a readymade Daily Lesson Log (DLL) based on the competencies of the MATATAG Curriculum with easy-to-use lesson slides. You are free to revise these DLLs for more appropriate learning activities based on the class needs and learning diversity.
