DepEd Order No. 31 s. 2019, is issued by the Department of Education (DepEd) or also known as “The Department of Education Service Marks and Visual Identity Manual”. The style and usage of the Department’s name, seal, and logo shall be governed by this manual, which will be a resource for DepEd officials, staff, and employees. As stated in DepEd Order No. 31 s. 2019: Division and School personnel are hereby required to use the standard format and templates for Certificates of Appreciation, Participation, and Appearance.
DepEd Standard Format for Certificates
The primary typeface is Old English Text MT. When the official name is used in the body of communication for the first time, it shall appear in this style – Department of Education (DepEd) following the font of the text. When this name is used again in the same communication, it shall appear in an abbreviated style, DepEd. DepEd offices may opt to use Trajan Pro as an alternative typeface in letterheads, certificates, and plaques.
The legal name of this government agency is the Department of Education, and its communicative name is DepEd.
