Step 1. Schedule your Appointment for DFA Passport

The first thing you should do is to check the availability of your preferred appointment date. You can do this by visiting the DFA official website and also here you can schedule for appointment.

  • To make an appointment for your DFA passport renewal, visit https://passport.gov.ph/appointment.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the Terms & Conditions after reading and reviewing them.
  • If you have read and comprehended the content, tick the appropriate box.
  • If you want to apply for more than one individual, click Start Group Appointment else click Start Individual Appointment.

Step 2. Complete the Information Required
The website gives you a time limit in filling in all the required fields, so make sure that you have all the information you will need ready. You will have to supply your:

Step 3. Wait for the email confirmation and pay the Fees
You will get an email from appointment@passport.gov.ph with your reference number and payment instructions after submitting your DFA online application.
Philippine passport costs as of this writing are as follows:

  • ₱950 for regular or 12 business days
  • ₱1,200 for expedite or 6 business days

Step 4. Show up on your scheduled appointment with all the necessary documents

Your successful DFA appointment will be confirmed via email after the application fees have been paid. A PDF file containing some key reminders, instructions for using the data collection site, a filled-out application for a Philippine passport, and an electronic receipt is also attached to the email.
