To practice being veterinarian in the Philippines, you have to pass the Veterinarian Licensure Exam (VLE).
The Veterinarian Licensure Exam (VLE) is administered by the Professional Regulation Organization (PRC), a state commission responsible for carrying out all licensing evaluations other than the bar examination. All prospective veterinarians in the Philippines must pass the standardized Veterinarian Licensure Board Exam in order to obtain their licenses.

On March 1–3, 2022, PRC testing facilities in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legaspi, and Tuguegarao will hold the September 2022 Veterinarian Licensure Exam.

- Notice of Admission
- Official Receipt
- One (1) piece of metered-stamped window mailing envelope
- One or more pencils (No. 2)
- Ball pens (black ink only)
- One (1) piece long brown envelope
- One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
- Health Forms (Pursuant to Joint Administrative Order No. 01, series of 2020)
- Negative RT-PCR Test Results (if applicable), or Certificate of Quarantine or copy of the Complete Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated examinees to be submitted to the proctor on the examination day.
