The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will release the August 2025 Civil Service Exam (CSE) – Professional and Subprofessional levels on October 13, 2025, two months after the examination held on August 10, 2025. Thousands of aspiring government workers across the Philippines took the test, aiming to obtain the much-coveted Civil Service Eligibility, a key requirement for most government positions.
The Civil Service Exam remains one of the toughest nationwide assessments. For instance, in the March 2025 CSE, only 47,449 out of 329,465 examinees passed — translating to a 14.40% passing rate. This figure highlights how competitive and challenging the exam truly is, even compared to other professional licensure tests like the Bar Exam and the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). With this, anticipation is high as thousands await the August 2025 CSE results, hoping to see their names among the new batch of Civil Service passers.
Results in the August 2025 Civil Service Exam (CSE) are released by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in 60-70 days after the exam. The Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) is an eligibility examination. It is offered by CSC twice a year for Professional and Subprofessional levels in order to accommodate the rising demand for government employees.
