ASEAN SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE PHILIPPINES – Alapan 1 Elementary School
The Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) is currently accepting applications for Academic Year 2023 ASEAN Scholarship for the Philippines. The ASEAN Scholarship is intended for Filipino students joining Secondary 3 in selected Singapore secondary schools.
Eligible Filipino nationals are encouraged to apply, provided they qualify with the following requirements:
• Students whose birthday falls between January 2, 2006, to January 1, 2009;
• Currently in Grade 9 or above;
• Proficient in English;
• Have done consistently well in school examinations; and
• Have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities.
The scholarship is valid for four years from Secondary 3 to Pre-University 2, leading to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level Certificate or similar qualification, and renewed each year based on the scholar’s performance in school. From March 15 to May 13, 2022, interested applicants may apply online at the Singapore Ministry of Education website at https://go.gov.sg/asphilippines, which may also be accessed by scanning the QR code below.

The scholarship covers:
- Annual allowance with hostel accommodation.
- Settling-in allowance.
- Return economy airfare.
- School fees.
- Examination fees for GCE O-Level and A-Level (once only, as applicable).
- Subsidised medical benefits and insurance cover for accidents.
