The Department of Education (DepEd) has officially announced the date for various End-of-School-Year (EOSY) ceremonies. Mark your calendar as DepEd scheduled recognition and graduation on April 14 and 15, 2025, depending on the school’s preference. According to DepEd Memorandum 027 series 2025, these ceremonies must be simple but meaningful. To help you, teachers, prepare for your school’s EOSY rites like recognition, graduation, or moving-up event, we offer all our ready-made program template, diploma, certificates, and other essentials for free.
EOSY Rites Schedule and Theme
According to DepEd Order (DO) No. 009, s. 2024, the school year will conclude on April 15, 2025. Consequently, the End-of-School-Year rites like Kindergarten’s and Grade 10 Moving-up, Grade 6 and Grade 12 Graduation, and Recognition will focus on the theme “Henerasyon ng Pagkakaisa: Kaagapay sa Bagong Pilipinas” (Generation of Unity: Partners for the New Philippines). It is a potent reminder of the critical role that the current generation of students plays in determining the future of the country. This topic emphasizes the value of solidarity, collaboration, and shared accountability in creating a more powerful and forward-thinking Philippines.
The graduation 2025 theme’s emphasis on teamwork inspires communities, families, educators, and students to collaborate to bring about significant change. It emphasizes how education is a collective process that needs everyone’s help rather than being solely an individual journey. This generation may actively contribute to the growth of the country by working together, being inclusive, and having common goals. This will help to create a society that values advancement, creativity, and social peace.
Guidelines for Conducting EOSY Rites
DepEd has reiterated the key provisions from previous guidelines to ensure that the ceremonies are simple, meaningful, and inclusive in DepEd Memorandum 027 series 2025. Graduation and moving-up ceremonies should be modest yet significant, avoiding excessive spending, extravagant attire, or expensive venues. In addition, the Department of Education strictly forbids collecting fees of these rites as part of the long-standing principle of the department “No Collection Policy”. Thus, all expenses related to the ceremonies will be covered by the school’s Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE).
