DepEd Electronic Self-Assessment Tool (E-SAT) Tool 2023
The Electronic Self-Assessment Tool (e-SAT) is one of the requirements that teachers must fulfill as part of the RPMS. Teachers will input the necessary information into the aforementioned eSAT form, typically in an Excel format that supports macros. One of the pillars for IPCRF teachers is ESAT. Through e-SAT, teachers will advise other teachers on how to improve their RPMS goals and identify areas where they need coaching or mentoring.
e-SAT is the electronic version of SAT-RPMS. We have available DepEd e-SAT tool for download in School Year 2022-2023.

What is DepEd e-SAT?
The DepEd RPMS E-SAT is part of the Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS) of the teachers in the Department of Education. The RPMS is a comprehensive performance evaluation system for teachers that aims to assess their teaching performance and provide them with feedback for improvement.
The e-SAT can be used as a springboard for informal self-reflection in order to define performance expectations and choose which capabilities to prioritize. Additionally, it can be used to assess how well teacher competences are developing or progressing and to confirm the efficacy of the interventions offered. It can serve as a discussion point for issues like needing to create goals and advancing one’s career.
Self-Assessment Tool-RPMS (SAT-RPMS)
The SAT-RPMS:
- comprise self-assessment questionnaires within the RPMS designed for teachers and master teachers;
- can be used as a starting point for informal purposes of self-reflection to clarify performance expectations and determine which competencies to focus on;
- guide discussions about goal-setting and professional development needs
