Alapan 1 Elementary School actively fulfills its legal mandate to protect and promote every learner’s right to quality basic education. To achieve this, the school systematically collects various types of data and information (including personal details) from different stakeholders. These data-gathering activities use multiple systems and platforms to ensure accurate records for educational planning, student services, and compliance with Department of Education (DepEd) policies.

In the processing of these data and information, the school is committed in ensuring the free flow of information as required under the Freedom of Information Act (Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016) and to protect and respect the confidentiality and privacy of these data and information as required under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

Authorized school personnel access the collected personal information and exchange it through email and web applications. The school stores this information in a secure database, following government policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines.
