Are you a professional in the Philippines? If yes, you must have your valid Professional ID Card or PIC from Professional Regulation Commission in order to continue practicing your profession in the country. Professionals must renew their Professional Identification Card (PIC) in every three years on the professional’s birthday, the PRC license must be renewed across all professions. Here are the very simple and easy way to renew your PRC License or ID Card Online thru PRC Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS) Portal
Steps to Renew PRC License Online?
1. Prepare Needed Requirements
Prepare the necessary information and needed documents (some professions require CPD Units for renewal) first before you proceed to online renewal of PRC ID Card.
2. Register in PRC LERIS Portal
Once you have prepared all the documents that you need for your online renewal of PRC license, using your computer, access the online portal or PRC LERIS online portal at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
If this is your first time using the PRC LERIS online portal, then register first by creating an account. You may proceed to step number 8 if you already have an account. Go to the Register tab of the page, read through the Terms of Service laid out, and click the Agree button to proceed. After you have filled it in, click the Register button to officially create your account. You will receive a confirmation email indicating that you have successfully created your account on the portal.
3. Activate your Account
To activate your newly created account, open the email that was sent to you by PRC and click Activate Account to verify your account. Once you are redirected to your account, complete your profile by adding all the required personal information, and after that click the “Save Information” button at the bottom.
Note: Make sure that all your entered information especially First and Last Name are ACCURATE.
4. Complete your PRC LERIS Information
Then, you must upload your updated profile photo. The uploaded photo must meet the basic requirements, such as the white background and collared attire. Else, it will be rejected and could cause further delays in your PRC online renewal application. Click the “Select Transaction” button to schedule an appointment. Now, select the Renewal tab and enter the 7-digit number displayed on your PRC license. After so, click the “Proceed” button to be redirected to the next window.
5. Set your Preferred Appointment
Next step, choose your nearest/preferred PRC office where you plan to claim your PRC ID and select your preferred time and date, and payment option. Take note that same-day transactions are not available.
6. Settle the necessary fees
Lastly, after you done all the necessary steps above. Make sure to settle immediately your renewal fee thru your chosen payment method. Don’t forget to print your Application for Professional ID Card which is also available in PRC LERIS online portal once you already settled your renewal fee.

Requirements to claim your renewed PRC License
After you set a PRC ID Card Renewal appointment at PRC LERIS online portal as instructed above, you must visit your chosen PRC office or satellite offices on your scheduled appointment. Don’t forget to bring the following:
- The original and a photocopy of the expiring PRC ID
- Original and one (1) photocopy of certificates indicating the CPD units you have acquired in the last three years.
- A printed copy of the Application for Professional Identification Card
