Application Requirements and Process for SSS Calamity Loan

Application Requirements and Process for SSS Calamity Loan

On the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) or their local equivalents known as the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Councils (LDRRMC), respectively, the President of the Philippines or the Local Government Units have the authority to declare an area or areas under a State of Calamity.

In such, you might consider to apply for a government loan with no interest. The SSS Calamity Loan is a unique loan that isn’t always accessible to all members. Every time a tragedy occurs in a region, SSS typically offers a “Calamity Loan” (e.g Typhoon, Earthquake, war, and unexpected incidents). You can ask SSS Contact Centers or Branches nearby regarding Calamity Loan being offered to SSS Members.
