Sun Cellular SIM Card Registration in SimReg Portal
All Sun Cellular users must register their personal information using SimReg Portal of their network, in accordance with the SIM Card Registration Act, or Republic Act 11934. Recently, text scams increased in an exponential rate and lawmakers have been pushing for the appropriate action. In an attempt to solve this, law makers passed the SIM Card Registration Act which require SIM Card users to register their subscriber’s information. How to Register your Sun Cellular SIM Card in SimReg Portal?
Before starting the registration, make sure you own and have access on Sun Cellular SIM Card you want to register. You should have access with it for OTP Verification requirement of the registration process. You should take the actions listed below:
Step 1: Ready your Identification
Registration of SIM Card is required for Sun Cellular Users. All users must provide their information including name, sex, birthdate, address, proof of identity, etc.
Step 2: Visit the Sun Cellular SIM Registration Portal
Visit the official Sun Cellular SIM Registration Portal or click here. In the portal, enter your SIM number and click “Send OTP”. You will receive SMS (Text Message) containing the OTP, you must input it on the portal.
Step 3: Complete the Online Form
Next, enter your personal information on the SIM card registration portal to register.
Step 4: Upload your photo and one valid IDs
A photo of Valid ID (see the list of Valid ID below) must be uploaded to the registration portal. Make sure it is up to date. Before pressing “Submit”, verify all your entered information.
Step 5: Confirmation
Your sim card registration and personal details will be verified by the telecom operator. You will receive SMS from Sun Cellular confirming your successful registration.
