Steps of DepEd Ranking 2026

The DepEd Ranking 2026 is an important process that evaluates and ranks schools, divisions, and personnel based on performance and accomplishments. Understanding the steps involved can help educators and administrators prepare the necessary documents and ensure compliance with DepEd guidelines. Below, we outline the key steps of the DepEd Ranking 2026 process.

  1. Prepare Application Requirements

If you’re a first-time applicant for the Teacher 1 Position in the Department of Education, the most important thing you need is a well-prepared application. You have to prepare all the requirements below before submitting any application.

  2. Submit Application to Preferred Schools Division Office (SDO)

Based on DepEd Order No. 19 s 2022, DepEd Merit Selection Plan, the application and selection process is now given individually to various Schools Division Offices of the Department. It clearly eliminates the central application system of the DepEd, which was formerly accessible at https://application.deped.gov.ph. Thus, you all need to do after preparing your application requirements is to submit it to your preferred SDO/s or public school/s.

  3. Wait for the ranking

Every School Division Office has the freedom to start its Application Acceptance and Ranking virtually any time. Thus, after you submit your application requirements, all you have to do is wait for your SDO’s next instruction for the ranking process.

  4. Check Registry of Qualified Applicants (RQA)

After the DepEd Ranking process, the SDO will release a Registry of Qualified Applicants (RQA) or simply a list of applicants who got 70 or more points. If your name is included in that list, well, congratulations, you all have to do is wait for the available item. Available items in public offices, like in the Department of Education usually decided by the CSC or Civil Service Commission.
