Introduction to K-12 Curriculum

Department of Education (DepEd) said Monday its “Most Essential Learning Competencies” (MELCs) is now available to be downloaded for free on the DepEd Commons. Education Undersecretary Alain Pascua said teachers can also access the K to 12 MELCs and its corresponding guidelines, which were prepared by the Bureau of Curriculum Development.

“We have`n made the MELCs available for free download at DepEd Commons to help our teachers focus on what is most essential given the challenge in learning delivery this school year,” DepEd Undersecretary Alain Pascua said.

“We are trying to make everything as accessible as we can, through DepEd Commons and our other available channels. It is upon us to make sure our teachers and learners have everything they need in order to continue learning,” Pascua added.
