What is the National Assessment for School Heads (NASH)?

The NASH Results 2025 were officially released through DepEd Memorandum No. 097, s. 2025, marking another milestone in the effort to identify and qualify future school heads. The Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development (BHROD) administered the NASH, also known as the Principal’s Test, on September 14, 2025. DepEd conducted the exam nationwide through a secure online platform using the DepEd Learning Management System (LMS). Before the actual test, DepEd conducted a mock examination to help participants familiarize themselves with the system. Additional details were sent directly to their official DepEd email accounts.

DepEd encouraged aspiring school heads from different positions to take the exam if they met the qualifications in DepEd Order No. 39, s. 2007. Applicants qualified if they had at least one year as Head Teacher, two years as Teacher-in-Charge or Master Teacher, or five years of teaching experience as a Teacher III or equivalent. DepEd also recognized combined experience in teaching and supervisory roles in public or accredited private institutions. Through this examination, DepEd aims to promote leadership excellence and professional growth among educators across the country.
