Daily Lesson Log (DLL) Quarter 3 Week 1 (November 3-7 2025) allows teachers to reflect on what students need to learn, how students learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process. They aim to empower teachers to provide quality teaching that recognizes the diversity of students in the classroom, strives for student success, allows for the use of a variety of instructional and formative assessment strategies, including the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), and allows the teacher to guide, mentor and support learners in developing and evaluating their learning across the curriculum.

The Department of Education started a revised version of the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum that aimed to narrow down the competencies. The MATATAG Curriculum which name is derived from the department’s MATATAG Agenda and its core principles includes the following:
- MAke the curriculum relevant to produce competent and job-ready, active, and responsible citizens;
- TAke steps to accelerate the delivery of basic education facilities and services;
- TAke good care of learners by promoting learner well-being, inclusive education, and a positive learning environment; and
- Give support to teachers to teach better.
