What’s New in the Matatag Kindergarten Curriculum?
In Quarter 3, Kindergarten learners under the MATATAG Curriculum explore the theme “Caring for Our Environment.” They learn to appreciate nature and practice simple ways to protect it. Through play-based and hands-on activities, children discover how to keep their surroundings clean, save water, and care for plants and animals.
Teachers guide them in fun lessons that build responsibility, respect, and love for the environment. Activities like sorting waste, planting seeds, and storytelling help them connect learning to real-life experiences. This quarter continues to strengthen their social skills, creativity, and curiosity while preparing them for the next level of learning.

It is recommended that you always review the competencies covered in the Daily Lesson Log (DLL) you have downloaded.
