The Department of Education (DepEd) requires all teachers to prepare a lesson plan before classes begin to ensure meaningful and well-structured learning. A clear plan helps teachers set specific learning objectives and organize daily activities that support these goals. Through systematic lesson planning, educators can better track learner progress and work toward the expected learning outcomes. To support teachers in this process, the Daily Lesson Log (DLL) for Week 4 of Quarter 3 (November 24–28, 2025) for all grade levels is now available for free download.
The Daily Lesson Log (DLL) for Quarter 3, Week 4 guides teachers in planning lessons that meet students’ needs and support their growth across learning areas. This week, teachers can align activities with key national observances such as Global Warming and Climate Change Awareness, National Consciousness Day for VAWC, and the National Day for Youth in Climate Action by introducing topics on environmental responsibility, safety, and youth participation in advocacy.
Teachers may also prepare for the upcoming Araw ng Pagbasa on November 27, highlighting the importance of reading and literacy across all grade levels. Through the DLL, teachers can reflect on strategies that guide, mentor, and engage learners while connecting classroom lessons to meaningful national themes that shape awareness, values, and active participation.

Overview About the Matatag Curriculum
The Department of Education started a revised version of the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum that aimed to narrow down the competencies. The MATATAG Curriculum, whose name is derived from the department’s MATATAG Agenda, includes the following core principles:
- Make the curriculum relevant to produce competent, job-ready, active, and responsible citizens;
- Take steps to accelerate the delivery of basic education facilities and services.
- Take good care of learners by promoting learner well-being, inclusive education, and a positive learning environment; and
- Give support to teachers to teach better.
This page contains a readymade Daily Lesson Log (DLL) based on the competencies of the MATATAG Curriculum with easy-to-use lesson slides. Also, you are free to revise these DLLs for more appropriate learning activities based on the class needs and learning diversity.
