Mr. Arly Flores, the School DisasterRisk Reduction Management focal person and overall face-to-face instruction lead person also added that everyone has been well-prepared for the exact scenarios because of the simulations done.

“Naging very cooperative ang mga magulang at mga bata kaya nasunod lahat ang mga plano lalo na ang mga health protocols although may mga minor glitches na di naman maiiwasan,” Mr. Flores added.

One of the glitches referred to was the separation anxiety dealt with by a Kindergarten teacher whose learner doesn’t want to be left in the room by his guardian but was eventually persuaded to remain in class when he saw his uncle waiting at the multipurpose hall. The debriefing session revealed funny and heartwarming classroom stories instead of problems, a testament that all went better than expected and that teachers really missed face-to-face teaching
