The Daily Lesson Log (DLL) is an important tool that helps teachers plan, organize, and monitor their daily lessons. With the implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar, teachers use the DLL to align lessons, activities, and assessments with the school schedule. Teachers also distribute learning competencies across the three terms. Through the DLL, teachers ensure that they cover all required topics and classroom activities within the available school days. The DLL also contains important details such as learning objectives, teaching strategies, instructional materials, and assessment methods for every lesson.
Furthermore, the Daily Lesson Log helps teachers reflect on how students learn and identify the support they need to improve. It encourages teachers to use effective teaching strategies, formative assessments, and information and communication technologies (ICT) to make learning more engaging and meaningful. Through the DLL, teachers can guide, mentor, and support learners while improving their teaching practices.
Today, you can download the most updated Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) for SY 20226-2027 that we offer. Competent teacher-contributors and AI tools helped create these DLLs. We also ensure that you can easily edit the files using any version of Microsoft Office. However, always use the updated Budget of Work (BoW) to make sure your DLLs remain accurate and aligned with the current curriculum.
The ILAW Framework is a learner-centered approach to lesson planning that helps teachers deliver meaningful and responsive instruction. It starts with Intentions, which define the learning goals, objectives, and success criteria that learners need to achieve. These goals provide clear direction for both teachers and learners. Next, teachers design Learning Experiences that actively engage learners in meaningful tasks and interactions. Through these activities, learners build their knowledge, skills, and understanding.

Teachers then use Assessment to collect evidence of learning and check whether learners have met the intended outcomes. Based on the results, they identify learners’ strengths and areas that need support. Finally, teachers plan Ways Forward to address learners’ needs. These may include remediation, enrichment activities, follow-up tasks, and teacher reflection. As a continuous process, the ILAW Framework connects planning, teaching, assessment, and intervention. As a result, it supports learner growth and helps improve learning outcomes.
