The Department of Education (DepEd) shall conduct the 2024 Brigada Eskwela on July 22-27, 2024, in preparation for the school opening for School Year (SY) 2024-2025 on July 29, 2024. This is consistent with DepEd Order (DO) No. 003, s. 2024 titled Amendment to DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2023. An example of campaign video for Brigada Eskwela 2024 is added here. This video campaign can be edited for your own school. Brigada Eskwela 2024 campaign video features encouraging different stakeholders to participate in this event.
Proper advocacy and information dissemination shall be undertaken to equip schools and their stakeholders with information on the implementation of Brigada Eskwela. SDOs are encouraged to conduct orientation on Brigada Eskwela Implementing Guidelines with school heads as part of the pre-implementation activities.
Brigada Eskwela School Year 2024-2025
The Brigada Eskwela (BE) is a nationwide school maintenance program that engages all education stakeholders to contribute their time, efforts, and resources in ensuring that public schools are all set in time for class opening. It is a six-day event where local communities, parents, alumni, civic groups, local businesses, non governmental organizations (NGOs), private individuals, and even teachers and students volunteer their time and skills for the conduct of clean-ups, minor to medium repairs, and maintenance work in classrooms and within the school sites.
