Kindergarten Weekly Home Learning Plan (WHLP) Quarter 2 Compilation

The Weekly Home Learning Plan will assist teachers and parents in monitoring daily general learning processes. It is used both in and outside of the classroom as it applies the most appropriate and practical alternative learning modality based on the context of their school. Also, it makes students aware of their responsibility for what they study. On this page, you can download our ready-to-use Weekly Home Learning Plan (WHLP) for Kindergarten in Quarter 2.

Teachers using the DLP or DLL specified in DepEd Order 42 must create the Weekly Home Learning Plan when implementing distance or blended learning. Meanwhile, teachers conducting face-to-face (F2F) classes must prepare daily lessons based on the Policy Guidelines on Daily Lesson Preparation for the K–12 Basic Education Program, adopted in 2016.

Preparing lessons with a Daily Lesson Log (DLL) or Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) gives teachers the opportunity to reflect on what students need to learn, how students learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process. Therefore, they aim to empower teachers to provide quality teaching that recognizes the diversity of students in the classroom and strives for student success. It allows for the use of a variety of instructional and formative assessment strategies, including the use of information and communication technologies (ICT). The teacher must be the guide, mentor, and support for learners in developing and evaluating their learning across the curriculum.
