3rd Periodical Tests GRADE 1 based on Matatag Curriculum with TOS and Answer Key

The DepEd School Calendar for 2024-2025 scheduled the 3rd Periodical Test on February 7 and 10, 2025. The 3rd Quarter Periodical Test (SY 2024-2025) is a set of test questionnaires for Quarter 3 based on TOS made for Grade 1. In education, “periodical test” refers to the various techniques teachers use to evaluate students’ understanding, skills, and overall progress. These tests are essential in providing a clear picture of the student’s learning and areas where further support may be needed. Periodical tests, specifically designed for each grading period, offer both teachers and students an opportunity to reflect on a whole quarter.

For Grade 1 in the 3rd Quarter, the competencies assessed span across multiple core subjects based on the Matatag Curriculum. In Language, students are evaluated on their ability to read and understand simple texts, while Mathematics focuses on number sense, addition, and subtraction within 100. In Science, students demonstrate their understanding of basic concepts in living things, the environment, and simple physical changes. These periodical tests, accompanied by a Table of Specifications (TOS) and Answer Key, ensure that assessments are aligned with the curriculum standards, enabling both students and educators to track progress effectively.
