This initiative seeks to raise the SRI for approximately 1,011,800 DepEd personnel from the current ₱18,000 to ₱20,000, recognizing their vital role in shaping the nation’s youth. In previous years, the government granted an SRI of up to Ten Thousand Pesos (₱20,000) to each employee in the Executive Department. The Department of Education (DepEd) employees received amounts ranging from ₱18,000 but this year it been targeted to ₱20,000.
