Submission Guidelines
The school must assign one teacher as the focal person for Brigada Eskwela. This teacher will be responsible for collecting and consolidating the required reports and forms. These documents will then be collected by the designated personnel from the Schools Division Office. Ensure the timely submission of all reports and forms by the DepEd guidelines. Furthermore, the DepEd directs all schools to publish transparency reports detailing all donations and voluntary contributions received.
Importance of Brigada Eskwela
In the past, the Department of Education has struggled with the lack of priority for education in the country. Thus, it is reflected in a shortage of resources for public schools, a lack of classrooms, and overcrowded classrooms.
At the opening of the school, students and teachers have to put up with an untidy classroom, chairs with broken armrests, and other things that need repair. Furthermore, DepEd launched the Adopt-a-School Program (ASP) campaign in 1998 to alleviate these problems. This allows for partnerships with other stakeholders willing to share resources to improve education in the nation’s public schools.
The school leaders, teachers, students, parents, and the community are encouraged to participate in the yearly Brigada Eskwela. Because it saves and secures resources for the school. The tireless support and efforts of various stakeholders have resulted in improvements in the learning environment. Teachers can now begin classroom instruction on the first day of school, and students can now focus on their lessons.
