What is SSS Law 499?

In recent trading post, one senior citizen is published to violate SSS Law 499 of 2023. This post gained much attention due to the nature and subject of it. SSS Law 499 is literally non-existing or there is now such law, order or decree. Social Security System is created by REPUBLIC ACT No. 1161 also known as Social Security Law. This law was amended by RA 11191 and RA 8282. This act mandates the creation of social security system and mandatory membership for social insurance benefits and contribution in non-governmental employees. Since the implementation of RA 11199, there are no new revision of the said law or enactment of new law with the same purpose. Nevertheless, the viral post regarding this Violence of SSS Law 499 focuses on the alleged incompliance to the provisions of Social Security Law of the said respondent, Maria Claro Intia.
