Alapan 1 Elementary School officially launched the School Year 2026–2027 for its Special Needs Education (SNED) program through the successful conduct of its First Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Meeting on June 13, 2026. The event served as an important platform for strengthening the partnership between the school and parents, highlighting the shared responsibility for supporting the educational journey of every SNED learner.
The meeting brought together dedicated parents and SNED teachers who gathered with a common goal—to ensure that children receive the guidance, support, and opportunities they need to thrive both academically and personally. The positive turnout reflected the commitment of parents to actively participate in their children’s education and become valuable partners in achieving meaningful learning outcomes.
Important Discussions for a Successful School Year
During the meeting, SNED teachers presented essential information regarding school policies, classroom expectations, academic programs, and planned activities for the entire school year. Parents were given a comprehensive overview of the school’s objectives and the strategies that will be implemented to provide quality education and holistic development for learners with special needs.
The discussions also emphasized the importance of open communication between teachers and parents. By working together, both parties can effectively monitor learners’ progress, address challenges, and celebrate achievements. Parents were encouraged to remain actively involved in school activities and maintain regular communication with teachers to help create a supportive learning environment for their children.
The meeting provided an opportunity for parents to raise concerns, ask questions, and share valuable insights regarding their children’s educational experiences. This exchange of ideas helped foster mutual understanding and trust, laying the foundation for a productive and collaborative school year.
Parents Show Strong Support for SNED Learners
One of the highlights of the event was the enthusiastic participation of parents, who demonstrated their unwavering support for the SNED program and its learners. Their active involvement and willingness to collaborate with the school created a positive and inspiring atmosphere throughout the meeting.

The unity displayed by the parents reinforced the belief that education becomes more effective when families and schools work hand in hand. Their commitment to nurturing the potential of every child reflects the shared vision of creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment where learners can grow with confidence and achieve success.
As the school year begins, the SNED community of Alapan I Elementary School remains hopeful and motivated to continue strengthening partnerships that will benefit every learner. The successful conduct of the first PTA meeting serves as a reminder that meaningful collaboration among educators, parents, and stakeholders plays a vital role in helping children reach their fullest potential.
A1ES extends its heartfelt appreciation to all SNED parents who attended and actively participated in the meeting. Their presence, cooperation, and dedication contribute greatly to the success of the program and the overall well-being of every SNED learner. Together, the school and the families will continue to create opportunities that empower children to learn, grow, and succeed throughout School Year 2026–2027.
