The Department of Education (DepEd) will begin its Brigada Eskwela 2024 in August to be ready for SY 2024–2025. The event encourages shared governance and community involvement to improve public elementary and secondary schools. Thus, the Brigada Eskwela activities are set to take place from July 22-27, 2024. The theme “Bayanihan Para Sa Matatag na Paaralan,” as indicated in the DepEd Memorandum 33 s. 2024.
The subject emphasizes the value of teamwork in creating robust and resilient educational institutions. Furthermore, the key values have been “Bayanihan,” or group communal effort, from the organization’s founding in 2003.
