DepEd Brigada Eskwela 2023 Theme, Poster, Logo and Forms

The Department of Education (DepEd) will begin its Brigada Eskwela 2023 or National Schools Maintenance Week in August in order to be ready for the upcoming school year 2023–2024. In order to improve public elementary and secondary schools across the country, the event encourages shared governance and community involvement.

“With the national government supporting DepEd with the Basic Education Development Plan 2030 serving as our guide, the success of the Department’s plans and programs shall now be completed by undying love for the profession of teaching Filipino children, our children, the future of our nation,” VP-Secretary Duterte added.

The Brigada Eskwela activities are set to take place from August 14 to August 19, 2023, with the theme “Bayanihan Para Sa Matatag na Paaralan,” as indicated in the Unnumbered Memorandum dated July 7, 2023. The subject emphasizes the value of teamwork in creating robust and resilient educational institutions.

Brigada Eskwela’s key values have been “Bayanihan,” or group communal effort, from the organization’s founding in 2003. The project aims to employ local resources and assistance to advance education reform and develop a supportive learning environment for Filipino students.
