This week marks Week 5 of Quarter 4, covering February 23–27, 2026, and continues the full implementation of Quarter 4 lesson discussions across grade levels. As regular instruction progresses, teachers are expected to strengthen key competencies, reinforce previously taught lessons, and prepare learners for upcoming academic requirements. They also ensure that all learning activities remain aligned with curriculum standards. Careful planning is essential to maintain lesson continuity and support learner progress as the school year approaches its final stretch. To assist educators during this period, the Daily Lesson Log (DLL) is available for free download for all grade levels.
This week also highlights important national and academic activities. It includes the commemoration of the EDSA People Power Revolution on February 25, which is declared a Special Working Day. Classes and work will proceed as usual unless otherwise announced by local authorities. In addition, this week signals the start of the End of School Year (EoSY) testing window, including assessments such as CRLA, RMA, and Phil-IRI. These evaluations help measure learners’ progress and guide schools in providing appropriate academic support. Through these significant events, teachers can balance regular instruction with assessment preparation while keeping classroom learning organized, focused, and meaningful.
