We prepared our collection of test questionnaires for the Term 1 Examinations of Grade 1 in the MATATAG Curriculum (SY 2026-2027) with TOS and Answer Key. Assessments or periodic tests are also used to pinpoint students’ strengths and weaknesses so that teachers can offer individualized academic support, educational programs, or social services. Additionally, a diverse range of organizations and people—including teachers, district administrators, universities, for-profit businesses, state departments of education, and groups made up of a combination of these people and institutions—develop assessments.
In Grade 1, students focus on developing their basic literacy and numeracy skills. They learn to read and write in English and Filipino, and they are introduced to basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Students also learn about the world around them through science and social science lessons, and they develop their personal and social skills through EsP and TLE.
