As we move into Week 10 of Term 1 (August 17-20, 2026), teachers across the country continue to adapt and implement the MATATAG Curriculum. These Daily Lesson Logs use the latest DepEd and are crafted according to the ILAW Framework. To help educators save time and ensure quality instruction, we’re providing free, editable Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) for Grades 1 to 10, aligned with the newly released Budget of Works (BoW). These DLLs aim to support effective lesson planning and improve classroom delivery across all major subjects. Additionally, they align with the set budget or work within the current school year’s academic calendar. You may download, customize, and use these DLLs as part of your daily lesson planning. Daily Lesson Log (DLL) Term 1 Week 10 (August 17-20, 2026) allows teachers to reflect on what students need to learn, how students learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process. They aim to empower teachers to provide quality teaching that recognizes the diversity of students in the classroom. Furthermore, it allows the teacher to guide, mentor, and support learners in developing and evaluating their learning across the curriculum.
Highlights of Week 10 of Term 1
Week 10 of Term 1 (August 17–20, 2026) marks an important preparation period as teachers begin crafting the Term 1 Examination. This week provides an opportunity to review the competencies covered during the term, identify the most important learning targets, and prepare assessment items that accurately measure learners’ knowledge, skills, and understanding. Teachers can also use this time to review their Table of Specifications (TOS) and ensure that the examination reflects the intended competencies and appropriate cognitive levels.
To make assessment preparation easier, our website also offers free ready-made Term 1 test questionnaires with corresponding TOS. These materials can serve as supplementary resources when developing examination papers, reviewing competencies, and preparing learners for the upcoming assessment. Teachers can download the available questionnaires, review the items, and adapt them to match their grade level, subject, competencies, and learners’ needs.
