DepEd In-Service Training (INSET) 2026 | Official NEAP “ILAW in Action” Webinar

According to the School Calendar for School Year 2026–2027, the training will be conducted through different sessions distributed throughout the school calendar. The implementation of both Learning Action Cell (LAC) sessions and In-Service Training (INSET) activities is allowed during designated periods to minimize disruptions to regular classes.

Meanwhile, INSET and the Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation (MPRE) are scheduled for September 10–11, 2026. The training will focus on strengthening teachers’ knowledge and skills for the effective implementation of the current curriculum.

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 012, s. 2025, titled Multi-Year Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and Activities, schools shall allocate appropriate time for the mid-year performance review and evaluation of school-based personnel, as well as the assessment of the school’s progress in the implementation of its programs, projects, and activities (PPAs).

During the designated period for school-based professional development, schools may also conduct School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) and other professional development activities to support the continuing professional development of teachers and school personnel. These activities may focus on strengthening teachers’ pedagogical knowledge and skills, addressing identified professional development needs, enhancing curriculum implementation, and preparing or improving instructional materials and other learning resources.

DepEd INSET 2026 Schedule and Registration Details

The Department of Education (DepEd), through the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP), has launched its 2026 In-Service Training (INSET) offering titled “ILAW in Action: Design and Deliver Effective Lessons through Explicit Instruction.” The free virtual training is designed to help teachers strengthen their instructional practices and apply effective teaching strategies in the classroom. The three-day online training is scheduled for September 10–12, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM, and will be conducted through Microsoft Teams.

How to Register for DepEd INSET 2026

Teachers and other eligible participants who wish to attend the training should complete the registration form and take the required pretest. Participants are advised to provide accurate information during registration.

After registering, participants must:

  1. Complete the registration form and pretest.
  2. Attend the scheduled session(s) live through Microsoft Teams.
  3. Complete the post-test for each session and achieve the required passing score. Multiple retakes are allowed.

What Will Teachers Learn?
