As we move into Week 5 of Term 1 (July 13–17, 2026), teachers across the country continue to adapt and implement the MATATAG Curriculum—DepEd’s restructured and learner-centered approach to basic education. To help educators save time and ensure quality instruction, we’re providing free, editable Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) for Grades 1 to 10, aligned with the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) and updated curriculum standards. These DLLs aim to support effective lesson planning and improve classroom delivery across all major subjects. Additionally, they align with the set budget or work within the current school year’s academic calendar. You may download, customize, and use these DLLs as part of your daily lesson planning. Also, download links are provided below for each grade.
Daily Lesson Log (DLL) Term 1 Week 5 (July 13-17, 2026) allows teachers to reflect on what students need to learn, how students learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process. They aim to empower teachers to provide quality teaching that recognizes the diversity of students in the classroom. Furthermore, it allows the teacher to guide, mentor, and support learners in developing and evaluating their learning across the curriculum.
Highlights of Matatag K-10 Curriculum
The Department of Education (DepEd) continues to roll out the MATATAG Curriculum to improve the quality of basic education in the Philippines. For Week 5 of Term 1 (July 13–17, 2026), we provide downloadable Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) aligned with the updated curriculum for Grades 1-10. These resources aim to support teachers in their lesson planning, ensure curriculum compliance, and enhance classroom delivery.
Also, it is considered an improved version of the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum. It emphasizes foundational skills in early grades, streamlines content, and prioritizes quality over quantity. It aims to decongest learning areas and ensure mastery.
