As we move into Week 6 of Term 1 (July 20–24, 2026), teachers across the country continue to adapt and implement the MATATAG Curriculum. These Daily Lesson Logs use the latest of DepEd and crafted according to the ILAW Framework. To help educators save time and ensure quality instruction, we’re providing free, editable Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) for Grades 1 to 10, aligned with the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) and updated curriculum standards. These DLLs aim to support effective lesson planning and improve classroom delivery across all major subjects. Additionally, they align with the set budget or work within the current school year’s academic calendar. You may download, customize, and use these DLLs as part of your daily lesson planning. Daily Lesson Log (DLL) Term 1 Week 6 (July 20-24, 2026) allows teachers to reflect on what students need to learn, how students learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process. They aim to empower teachers to provide quality teaching that recognizes the diversity of students in the classroom. Furthermore, it allows the teacher to guide, mentor, and support learners in developing and evaluating their learning across the curriculum.
Highlights of Week 6 of Term 1
As Week 6 of Term 1 (July 20–24, 2026) begins, teachers are encouraged to focus on preparing learners for the Second Teacher-Made Summative Test, ensuring that key competencies covered during the previous weeks are reviewed and reinforced. This week also provides an opportunity to conduct remediation, enrichment activities, and formative assessments to help learners build confidence before the summative evaluation.
In addition, schools are encouraged to integrate Nutrition Month into classroom discussions and learning activities across different subject areas. Teachers may incorporate topics on healthy eating habits, proper nutrition, food security, and wellness through contextualized lessons and classroom activities, supporting both the MATATAG Curriculum and the observance of National Nutrition Month. This integration promotes meaningful, real-life learning while fostering healthy lifestyles among learners.
