As Week 3 of Term 1 (June 29 to July 3, 2026) begins, we encourage teachers to prepare their Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) aligned with the updated MATATAG Curriculum. These DLLs support effective teaching and help ensure that classroom instruction meets DepEd’s standards. This blog post offers free and updated DLLs for Kindergarten to Grade 10 teachers. All files are organized by grade level and subject in a secure drive. Additionally, it aligns with the set budget or works within the current school year’s academic calendar. You may download, customize, and use these DLLs as part of your daily lesson planning. Also, download links are provided below for each grade. The Daily Lesson Log (DLL) for Term 1, Week 3 (June 29 – July 3, 2026) allows teachers to reflect on what students need to learn, how students learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process. They aim to empower teachers to provide quality teaching. The methodologies used in these DLLs recognize the diversity of students in the classroom. It allows for the use of a variety of instructional and formative assessment strategies, including the use of ICT. Furthermore, the DLL allows the teacher to guide, mentor, and support learners in developing and evaluating their learning across the curriculum.

Highlights of Week 3 of Term 1
Week 3 of Term 1 in the teacher’s budget of work highlights a combination of classroom teaching and administrative data gathering. Teachers are expected to continue administering BoSY assessments such as CRLA, RMA, MFAT, and Phil-IRI. In support of this, we offer ready-to-use resources, including editable report forms and booklets for the assessments mentioned above. On the other hand, the department has also mandated the administration of the Mandatory Learners’ Health Assessment under the School Calendar 2026–2027.
The DepEd Mandatory Learners’ Health Assessment is a policy issued by the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines. This requires all learners to undergo a basic health and nutrition assessment at the start of the school year. Thus, this assessment includes height, weight, and Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements, and in some cases, vision and oral health checks. It is conducted by school health personnel or trained teachers and recorded in School Form 8 (SF8): Learner’s Basic Health and Nutrition Report.
